Research summary

Applied geometry
The isogeometric segmentation problem, expressing boundary-represented solids as unions of smooth images of cubes suitable for isogeometric analysis.
Differential geometry and its applications
Variational problems and ordinary differential equations in Riemannian manifolds and Lie groups, and applications. In particular, cubic interpolants in non-flat spaces, which arise from problems in robotic control, computer graphics and directional statistics.
Combinatorics
Flag-transitive linear spaces and polynomials over finite fields.
